Although a small
school of approximately 160 students, Kulin District High School has an excellent reputation and
takes pride in the achievements of both past and present students. Former students have been
successful in a range of occupations from professionals such as teachers, nurses, engineers and
pilots to valued members of the local community. One of our real strengths is the ability to
maintain a sense of family and to cater for individuals. Our commitment to values and pastoral
care is exceptional. The Virtues Project has been implemented at the school as a priority and is
successfully coordinated by the Student Council.
A K-10 school, Kulin DHS is located in the central wheat belt, 108 km from Narrogin. The community is noted for the Kulin Bush Races held at Jilakin Rock on the middle weekend of the October holidays. Most students live on farms and travel to school on one of the 7 buses. This includes some secondary students who travel from Kondinin. The families of town students are generally employed by government services or in agricultural businesses.
