At Belmont City College our motto is Bold, Creative, Caring. We aim to live up to our motto in every aspect of College life.

Modern facilities, set in the heart of the City of Belmont, provide the backdrop for many innovative programs conducted at Belmont City College. Our focus is on providing a safe and caring environment that encourages students to become self-motivated, independent learners. A strong pastoral care program supports the social and emotional needs of the students at the College, whilst the diverse range of academic and life skills programs aim to cater for the academic needs of all students who study at the College.

Belmont students have access to networked computers throughout the College with access to the Internet for all students in their classrooms. A strong focus on the performing arts allows students to develop their talents in the areas of dance, music, and drama from Year 8 through to Year 12.

Along with programs that enable students to further their studies at University and TAFE, other programs available that attract students in Years 11 and 12 include strong vocational programs in Design and Technology and in Hospitality. Most Year 11 and 12 students at Belmont choose to undertake Structured Workplace Learning as part of their program.
