Gilmore Girls College is a unique environment. We are a relatively small, government girls’ school which offers academic challenge, individual care and a huge range of opportunities empowering young women to develop their potential.

Established in 1925, Gilmore College has a rich history of continuous development and innovation to meet the changing needs of girls' education. Today Gilmore is an academically focussed, technology rich, educational provider.

Gilmore College is proud of many features: a high level of academic achievement at all year levels, an outstanding reputation as a safe school, an innovative and well structured curriculum including a wide range of enrichment and extension programs and excellent facilities.

In 2005 and 2006, Gilmore Girls College was chosen by the Department of Education as a model for safe schools and also recognised and accepted into the Department of Education's 'Leading Schools' Fund'.
