Park Ridge State High is a large co-educational school on the southern outskirts of Brisbane. It was established in 1991 and has developed a proud tradition of academic excellence. In recent years our school has also embraced a full range of vocational pathways to meet the diverse needs of our young people. We also have strong relationships with universities, TAFE colleges and local business organisations which enhance the opportunities available to our students.

A number of specialist elective programs are available to students who wish to take on an additional challenge. These include the Indonesian Immersion Program, the Australian Football League (AFL) Academy and the Excellence program in Performing Arts (CAD). All students are able to participate in a full range of high quality extra-curricular activities.

Park Ridge SHS has a strong sense of community. “Pride and Respect” is the motto we live by, and this is emphasised in the wearing of the school uniform. We work hard to ensure that ours is a supportive environment for all our students. We have a skilful and dedicated staff and we are committed to working in close partnership with parents and the wider community.
