Loganlea State High School is a co-educational high school with an enrolment of 700, catering for years 8 through to 12.  There is no one local primary school that directly feeds into the school.  Students enrol from forty-two feeder schools and throughout the year Loganlea SHS will engage in many Middle schooling initiatives with them.  At the other end of the spectrum, Loganlea SHS was involved in the Community Access progrtam and as a result still caters for mature aged learners in after school computer classes.  The oldest student is 87 years of age.

The student's engagement with learning takes many forms--with the Logan TAFE, apprenticeships and traineeships, extensive field trip activity, Distance Education study, community courses, programs with Griffith University Logan Campus, and outdoor education.

The school also caters for the largest Special Education Unit with an enrolment of 99 students.  The unit has been classified to cater for students with intellectual impairment, speech language impairment, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and physical impairment.  The multi-cultural complexity of the school is minimal with an indigenous population growing to 45 students.

Our focus is inclusion and responsiveness to need.
