Babinda P-12 State School is a small school, offering smaller classes that encourage a ‘family’ style environment. Teachers are able to develop happy and healthy working relationships with students that envisage both parties working to the best of their ability. Most importantly our students indicate they feel safe, and happy whilst they are learning - a great school and a fun place to be!
Babinda is located in the beautiful tropical North Queensland town of Babinda, about 40 minutes south of Cairns. It is a small town, with a population of approximately 1260 people. Babinda has become quite famous for being one of the wettest places in Australia (over 4000 mm per annum) and is nestled in between the rainforest and farming lands. Babinda has a uniquely rich indigenous history and is a popular tourist attraction in the Far North.
